Celebrate the Seasons, Sustain the Planet
Like all other agricultural products, flowers have been commoditized over the past 40 years. An enormous carbon footprint, environmental degradation and human health hazards are unsustainable byproducts of the mass production and transportation of flowers on a global scale.
We’re on a mission to change the way people think about flowers. By showcasing lush, vibrant flowers during their peak bloom time, we hope to encourage consumers to place the highest value on flowers that are grown locally, seasonally and with sustainable farming methods. As Members of the Slow Flowers Society, we recommit to these standards annually. Read the the Slow Flowers Manifesto to learn more about why local, seasonal flowers are better for people and the planet.
