Better Energy, Smaller Footprint

Our farm operation is 100% solar, powered by a field array installed in 2018. We’re happy to harness the energy of the sun to power our barn, walk-in cooler and greenhouse fans. When considering use by the entire planet, every source of renewable energy comes with complications for scalability. For our small farm, however, solar power, ongoing research about renewable energy options, and an increasing array of electric power tools continuously move us away from fossil fuels and toward a more energy independent future. By simply operating our business locally and being conscious of all our energy inputs, we lessen our overall carbon footprint.
